These two are by Melanie McKenzie, using lots of PP embellies.

How cute is this next layout is by Amanda Lawrence, using a blue spotty button...

I love the bright colours in this adorable layout by Yara Freytes...

And lastly, this stunning card by Tracie Green (Unique Cardz)...

I hope these layouts have given you lots of inspiration today. I'll be back tomorrow, with lots more gorgeous customer layouts to share :)

Pretty Clusters with Belinda

Good Morning everyone!!

It is so cold here this morning that I have made my DH do the school drop off. How mean am I? But at least it frees me up to do some blogging!! ;-)

So how about a couple of layout shares with some pretty floral clusters?

My first layout is a girly one with lots of flowers and pretty things...

...I have combined a brand new floral button from the last sale with a beautiful soft pink doily. I added a little Dusty Attic crown to the top of the button and looped some twine across the little tag banner. I also added a mini pink doily to the top left cluster...

...and here is a close up...Oh but first let me apologise for the quality of the close ups. I only remembered to take close ups this morning and because it was only 4 degrees I just wasn't going outside for anything!! LOL...

...and now for the sake of keeping things equal in my household...a boy layout...

...The colours for this layout were inspired by the owl journalling tag I bought recently. The brand new PP XL Tree Button coordinated just perfectly with the tag as well as the spotty button and the blue and white twine. I thought the Core'dinations woodgrain cardstock tied in with the Tree Button nicely too...

...Here's a couple of close ups...

Don't forget to get your entries in for the June Sketch Challenge. There's still a couple of days left!!!

Have a great day.

New Buttons Shares....

I have been having fun playing with some of the new buttons. My first share I used LOTS of buttons to creat this LO for the current challenge over at Stuck Sketches.

As you can see, I have had lots of fun, using a Large spotty button, and normal purple spotty button, an bird button which I Have make a felt flower around, I have a hessian flower and also the cutest little bunny button.

Then for my second LO I have incorporated one of the new Large zig zag buttons and a doily. I love the way these items have added a real pop of colour to my LO.

This LO was created for Sara's word challenge at Scrapbook Savvy where you needed to use the world Love on your LO.

Don't the sneak peeks of the new buttons look really exciting. Thanks for looking and happy scrapping.

Using some new Buttons....

Good Morning everyone,

Its Melinda here today to share with you a few layouts I have created recently using some of the new PP buttons that were released at the last sale...

First up is this XL tree button....I did this layout the day these buttons arrived in the mail box..I think my boys thought I was going mad with excitement...lol!!

And my newest favourite button...these little fish buttons....oh I could have oodles of these..they come in a few different colours too and this time I placed it as a centre piece to my flower. This layout was created for June's Scrap the Boys challenge.

And in this layout I used a very super cute car button.  Not a new new one but still the same I ADORE them... It was perfect for my layout which shows my boys first time sitting in their Grandad's ambulance. It you haven't already noticed, I love to tuck these buttons in and around my other embellishments to make a gorgeous cluster.

Here is a closer look....

Happy Days...

...are playing with Purple Pumpkin products!!

Good morning all!! Belinda here today to show that I had at least two happy days last week creating these two layouts using an array of Purple Pumpkin fabulousness.

This first layout called 'Little' features the XL little boy red button (which I just LOVE!), a spotty button and a car button, a red doily and some black and white twine.

I cut the centre out of the red doily and then cut the centre in half so I could use that on two separate clusters. I glued the little boy button onto the bottom layers of a satin lollipop (that I had left over from another project) and then stuck on top of the outer circle of the red doily.

I made a couple of kites from some red fabric mounted onto kraft cardstock and then added some twine which I wound around the spotty button to anchor them to the page...

...and here is a layout I created using the June Sketch over at Get Picky. I have used a bird button, a car button and a green spotty button as well as a green doily that I cut in half and a mini green doily. One of my favourite things to do lately is to create layers of die cut pattern paper and cardstock doilies and then top them with a PP button. They fit perfectly...

...and here are some close ups of all of the fabo PP embellies...

Well that's all from me. I hope some of these ideas have inspired you to go and create with your Purple Pumpkin goodies. Keep an eye on the blog because a little birdie told me there might be a sale soon!!

Cheers

Super heroes - Hayles

Well I have had a few issues with blogger today but I am finally here to share a layout.

I just love the fact that you can use Purple Pumpkin for both boy and girl layouts and I decided to have a go at the sketch over at Handmade by Suzanne this month and had the perfect photos for it.

I have made the banner and then used a lollipop flower in denim and red spot underneath the Black and red felt button top flower.

As you can see i have used the twine on the banner and also wrapped it around the button and also have used it on the circle randomly, and even though this twine was not from PP, there are plenty of colours in stock to use alternatively.

Don't forget the sketch challenge this month, great to see so many entries already but would be even better to see some more:)

Just a little bit girly!!

Happy Saturday :))
Hope you are all having a fab start to your weekend !!

Well I just wanted to share with you an OTP project that I have been working on and can now share with you.  I made this little album as a gift for my mother-in-laws birthday.  The album is just a collection of memories of the time they 1st came to visit us (last September) after we moved from Brisbane to Emerald.

Each page has something girly from PURPLE PUMPKIN!! Not often I get to do pink, so I really enjoyed it for a change!

Oh except the first page, but I will show you that anyway... :)

Using some twine which its perfect for threading little charms through..not sure if you can see that tho...

A little owl button up the top on the end of the banner....

A cute little Oriental girl button tucked in near the flower :))

Okay so this one is not really girly, but I adore these cute little spotty buttons...

A pink butterfly button up the top and a gorgeous fabric lollipop flower!

Here I used a light pink Layered Vintage Chenille Lollipop Flower which I misted over with a darker colour pink mist and sat a little pink owl button next to it...

And lastly, a little hedgehog button in amongst my cluster....

So there you have it...handmade items like these always make your project that much more special :)))

Next I thought I would share with you a layout I did for Colour Combo's Galore a couple of weeks ago now...man where does the time go hey!...

Using this adorable bird button which I just slightly inked the edges...

Hope you have enjoyed looking at these and feel inspired to use your Purple Pumpkin stash.  Don't forget the sketch challenge.  Its great to see lots have already joined in.  All details can be found on the side bar.

Till next time...have a great weekend :))

Buttons and Doily's... a combination heaven sent.

Today I wanted to share a LO I created while on retreat. It was a colour challenge and they were Pink, Black Grey and White. If you know me, this is a REAL challenge as I don't do pink. I did however have a fabulous pink doily and button from Purple Pumpkin.

As you can see, my obsession with bottle caps has continued. I discovered you can heat emboss them to change their colour.

I also found this fabulous quote about poetry. "Poetry is just the evidence of life, if your life is burning bright, Poetry is just the Ash".

Hope you are all having a fabulous creative day. Anne

Adding the finishing touches...Hayles

Morning to all.......

Just a quick post today as I head out the door, and it is a layout from Sketch #153 over at Creative Scrappers

Most of the time when I am looking for just that little something to add to my layout to finish it off, I always find myself heading to my Purple Pumpkin stash.

For this layout I just needed some small embellies to keep with the minimal theme and I came across the smaller size buttons, one is the spaceship....Perfect, and another a spotty button in the green!

As you can see you don't need to do anything special with these buttons if you don't want to, they look great just simply stuck to your page!!

Sunshine and Lollipops - with Belinda

Hello Purple Pumpkin people!!

Belinda here today, running a little late because it was my baby's very first school visit this morning!! I am so not ready for him to go to school.

But enough about me...how about I spread a little sunshine starting with this first layout?...

...I wanted to give the impression of sunshine on this layout using palette #62 at The Color Room so what better embellishment than some Purple Pumpkin bright orange doilies!! They are so happy and sunny and even better I didn't have to alter them at all as they worked so beautifully with the colours I wanted to use. I have used a mini doily with a regular old button just off to the side as well as a larger doily. The larger doily has a couple of layers of diecut pattern paper on top and then the most perfect PP button on top of that.

Here are some close ups...

...And now for some lollipops!!...

...On this layout I created using the Handmade By Suzanne June Sketch, I have used a pink satin lollipop with black and white spotty button on top. I really wanted to use this particular lollipop because it is so darn pretty and also it matched my colour palette perfectly. However, it was just that teeny bit too large for the space I had to fill. So I simply removed the top few layers from the bottom and ...TA DA!!! ...perfect fit!! I also used some pink and white twine which I coiled and wound along the top of my banner. Can you tell how much I love this twine?? It is really easy to attach to your page too with some strategically positioned staples or tucked in and taped down behind a banner.

...here's a couple of close ups...

...and now for a card...

...Remember how I used just the top couple of layers of the lollipop flower on the last layout?? Well "waste not, want not" I have used the bottom layers of that lollipop on this card and topped them with a larger pink and white button. I then squeezed some Helmar 450 around the edge of the button and wound around a little pearl trim to make a whole new lollipop. Pretty cool huh??

...and just one more card!!...

...For this one I wanted to use the pretty pink and yellow spotty button topped felt flower. It just happened to fit perfectly in the middle of my circle stamp which I had applied onto some transparency and cut out. I then created layers of cardstock and pattern paper underneath using Spellbinders Doily Die Cuts and a scallop circle punch. I had a little cupcake topper in my stash (that's the little pink fairy) so I added that too with some pink and white twine tied around it in a bow.

...Well that's all from me today...

Thankyou so much for stopping by the Purple Pumpkin blog. I hope you have been inspired to get out your PP goddies and start creating!!

Have a great day.
Belinda :-)
